Two Sessions: 9:00-11:00 AM and 1:00-3:00 PM (PDT)
In this intimate daylong retreat we will explore a wide range of yoga postures while learning and integrating joint and muscle anatomy to help illustrate important structural and alignment points. We will gradually build from simple to more complex movements, while honoring the architecture of your unique human form, so that everyone is challenged in a safe and supportive atmosphere. You will leave knowing more about how your body works and ways to practice safely and effectively for a lifetime. The morning practice will be active, to build strength and mobility. The afternoon practice will provide a calm and contemplative environment for restorative postures, breathing awareness (pranayama), and relaxation to regulate your nervous systems.
Four hours of CEU’s available through Yoga Alliance upon completion.
This event will be held online through Zoom so we can safely practice together from home.

Recommended props: A mat; blocks; 2-3 blankets; bolster (optional); strap; chair; wall space; something to cover your eyes.
